This series needs no introduction; everyone around the globe knows about it. I’m just here to share what I think of it.
This series was my door to the world of books. A lot of my relatives had recommended it to me but I had seen the size of the books at Crossword, so I wasn’t really keen on reading them. While we were on a tour in Chennai, I really needed a distraction during our long car travels, that is when I started to listen to these books on Audible. After a few years, I read the entire series once more and I am reading it once more at the moment! Something makes me come back to this series every few years.
It is all thanks to J.K. Rowling that I read long novels and can’t go anywhere without a book in my backpack.
People might say ‘Don’t waste your time behind silly fantasy tales’, but it is not the kind of fantasy that has fairies wearing pink dresses and waving magic wands. It is something that teaches you a lot of things; being loyal to your friends and those who love you, standing upright in difficult times, being firm on your beliefs even when the world may seem against you and most importantly having courage no matter what.
I would really urge everyone to read this fantastic series, if possible. It actually changed the definition on children’s literature in the entirety.
